Roberts story

Hello Gentle reader. Here is a story I made up for Robert yesterday.

Once upon a time there was a little boy called Robert.  He had a sweet smile, blue eyes and dark blonde hair.
He liked to play with Lego, cars and with his pet cat, Danny.
Danny would try to run away from Robert because Robert could play very roughly.
Robert's Mama and Papa would tell Robert off every day because he was too rough with the cat.
But Robert didn't listen and one day Danny ate him all up.

Robert 1 Tooth Fairy nil

Hello Gentle Readers.

It was a massive and bloody struggle. Days of attrition with tears, screams and guilt. Several hours a day preparing for the moment. The elation of the relief when its all finally over.

Yes folks.....Robert's wobbly tooth is wobbly no more.

When we were in America we wobbled it. In Berlin and Riga we wobbled it. Finally tonight in Liepaja, at Babushka's house did it finally come.

I hope the Tooth Fairy knows we are here.

Today Gentle Reader was our last full day in the Big Apple and we used it to see some of the places we really wanted to see.

Its been an awesome few days in the City that never sleeps. We have sore feet and are super tired but I know that one day we will come back and see the rest.

We have been amazed at how helpful and friendly people have been here and from Robert, Lena and myself I want to send a big thankyou to every New Yorker for making us feel so welcome.

A Scotsman in New York Day 3

Well Gentle Readers yesterday saw us go to Central park where Robert made a friend, went on another merry go round and we all got our minds blown by the view from the top of the Rock.

We walked along 5th Avenue and saw many people planning to protest the new administration on Presidents day.

By the time we got back to the hotel we had sore feet from all the walking.
