The bliss on bread treat

Hello gentle readers. Tonight I discovered true food bliss and I am gonna share it with you.

 Yes folks its an apple jam and sour cream sandwich.

Lena made some amazing Apple jam last year and after 8 months or so on our fridge it is just amazing.

Spread two pieces of bread with the jam. No butter though. Drop a spoonful of sour cream on each slice and then squash them together and stuff your face.

Well hello again Gentle Readers.

I was sitting here at the computer trying to think of something to write about when I looked over at Robert and thought....What would he blog about, what does he like?

He likes dinosaurs. So did I when I was his age. Dinosaurs are cool.

So here are our top 10 dinosaur fun facts

 

1. Dinosaurs lived on planet Earth for 150 million years. Humans  have only been around for 0.1% of that time.

2. The longest complete dinosaur skeleton ever found was of a 27m long diplodocus.

3. The smallest known dinosaur was about 10cm tall and weighed less than a chihuahua.

4.If Earth's history was condensed into 24 hours. The dinosaurs would have become extinct at 11.41pm.

5. Dinosaurs are not technically extinct because all birds evolved from a dinosaur ancestor.

6. Most dinosaur species were identified after the discovery of just 1 bone.

7. The dinosaur sounds for the movie Jurassic Park were made from recordings of tortoises have sex.

 

8. 40% of Americans think humans and dinosaurs lived at the same time.

 

9. Villagers in central China used ground up dinosaur bones as a medicine thinking they were from dragons.

10.Some species of herbivorous dinosaurs swallowed rocks to help them digest the plants.

Milan is a city I have never visited but would like to see more of in the future. Having visited Rome, Lena and I would love to explore Italy's second city.

Mothers Day

Mama's flowers and crystal necklace.

Hello gentle readers, especially those of you out there who are mothers.
For most of the world today is Mothers Day so I hope you have been getting some special treatment.
Today is very special for Lena because this is her first ever mothers day. Robert and I went shopping and bought her a crystal necklace and some red roses. Robert also drew a special picture just for his mama and coloured it in especially for her.
