A Messy Divorce? My Brexit view. Part 1
Hello there Gentle Readers. Following my interview with LNT the other day I thought I would share my feelings with you.
Last year, the Brexit referendum seemed to be dominating news from the UK. A long line of po-faced politicians both conservative and socialist appeared on our TV screens expounding their theories that Britain should either leave the EU or remain. Even worse however were the clowns....
....Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson that is. Although from two different parties they shared the same one sided (some might say xenophobic) dream.
A UK free of European influence.
An independent UK.
A noble plan, a great endeavour. Unfortunately there was a flaw in their plan.
IT WAS BOLLOCKS!
As you may have guessed gentle reader I am a pro EU and if I had the chance to vote in the referendum I would have voted Remain.
I believe that the UK would be stronger in a strong EU.
That Britains absence will weaken the EU and this would be bad for Latvia.

A Scotsman on........Latvian TV
Hey Gentle Readers.
For those of you that live in Latvia and are out of bed before 8am. The tv station LNT will be showing a short interview with me on Tuesday morning on their news show 900 seconds.
I was actually asked by the reporter because he was looking for Scottish people in Latvia to ask them about Brexit.
I have avoided writing about my feelings on Brexit but now article 50 has been started I may be more vocal.
If you can watch the show I would love to see you comment.

WTF! Dabbing
WTF Gentle Reader... do you dab?
Have you seen groups of teens seemingly jerking about like a strange Nazi salute crossed with a sneeze. Dabbing as its called has become a bit of a craze amongst younger teens and preteens and seems to be a bit of harmless fun.
When Robert started copying these older children I decided to find out myself what all the fuss is about.
It is a dance move in which the dancer simultaneously drops the head while raising an .arm and the elbow in a gesture that has been noted to resemble sneezing.
It originated in, yes you guessed it Gentle
Reader, the USA amongst the Atlanta hip-hop
scene where a gentleman with the groovy
name of Skippa da Flippa created the move.
Dabbin' as it sometimes referred to has touched many areas in the media including sports and politics.
Hillary Clinton famously dabbed on the Ellen Degeneres show in 2016.
If you see your kids dabbing...please dont panic....they could be twerking.
