Hello Gentle Readers.

Is it just me or is love in the air. The sun has come out on a gloriously hot summer and everywhere you look people are in the mood for love.

Harry and Meghan got married.
Justin Bieber and Hayley Baldwin are back together.
The teenagers at CBIS are full of hormones and spicy Chinese meatballs.

All of these pale in comparison with the biggest love story of them all.

They do make a very cute couple and like a lot of classic couples, they didnt really like each other very much at the beginning.

Words were said....accusations flew....both threatened to bomb the other....you know how it is?

The Donald and the Kim....are they made for each other?

Seriously though....it was only a short time ago that these two despots were slagging each other off in public and threatening mutual destruction. Now its like they have discovered a long lost brother. WTF is going on.

Now I have very little time for either of these men but the whole world seems to be watching Singapore the way the world was watching Iceland when Reagan and Gorbachev met in the 80s.

I really hope this romance lasts....The thought of a lovers tiff between these 2 numpties would make the Cuban Missile Crisis look like a dolly tea party.

Rainy days in China

Hey there Gentle Readers.

Its a very British thing complaining about the weather but Hey....I am British.

It has been basically raining in Foshan for a week and Lena and I are sick of it.
Yesterday after all the rain a typhoon showed up and dumped a load more rain on Yuhu, where we live, and CBIS, where we work.

Typhoon Ewiniar is the fourth typhoon to affect Guangdong region this year but the first to reach us. It killed several people nearer the coast.

As I look from the window now its not raining but Lena says the rain will keep falling for a few more days.
