Ouch

Hello Gentle Readers. This post has some lovely photos.

Did you ever do something really stupid and get sympathy. Yesterday I was making a very simple family dinner. Pelmenies and salad. I have made it lots of times over the years but yesterday the Gods of dumplings finally took their revenge.

I had chopped and fried some mushrooms and onions, boiled the dumplings and was ready to drain the pan. 

I grabbed a towel and wrapping it around the handle, started to lift. It slipped. It spilt. About 1.5 litres of boiling water went over my right hand and down all over my feet. 

The pain was intense. Lena said I seemed to freeze. I was standing in boiling water and pelmenies.

I fell to the ground and Lena pulled off my socks and i crawled towards the shower to cool my feet down. Lena grabbed a bottle of Amway LOC cleaning fluid and poured it on the burns.

It worked. The pain is gone. It still looks horrible but i have no pain.

Boris 1 The Donald 0

I used to think Trump and Boris were basically the same. Over priviledged rich boys with bad haircuts.

Corona virus has shown they are very different.

 Boris has gone up in my opinion. Shown the spine of a war time prime minister. Face it. The UK is at war.

Trump has done nothing except try to pass blame onto everyone else. The Chinese being the main villain.

He had the audacity to say there wasnt a problem and did nothing.

He should be ashamed.

Well done Boris, I still dont like you or your politics, but you have shown in the last month that you can be a great Statesman. Get well soon.
