Convenience.....Yuhu style

Hello Gentle Readers. I wanted to let you know about something cool.

We have lived in China now for over 6 months and our appartment, although its lovely and the community is nice, it lacked one thing, a shop.

We now have three.

A few weeks ago we got a convenience supermarket just a few minutes walk away.  It sells basic stuff.
On the 7th March a more general grocers opened next door to the convenience store and this place sells vegetables and fruit plus fish, meat, rice and noodles as well as oils and some sauces.

The biggest shock however was that our building now has its own shop. I have never seen this type of shop before. It is unmanned. The door is locked and you use a wechat miniprogram called "Easygo" to gain entry.

When you get inside you grab the items you want and before you leave the sensors scan your items and takes the amount off your  wechat balance.

I was very impressed with it and so was Lena. Finally after 6 months we actually have choice.
