Welcome to my Blog. My name is Neil and I have been living in Buckinghan, UK since the 11th September 2020. I lived in the Armenia, Latvia and China. I am a teacher of Geography, Global Perspectives and English. I am married to Lena who is my soulmate and best friend.We also have a little boy, Robert. Hello gentle readers, Happy New Year. Lets gulp down the advil of time as we carefully nurse the biggest hangover of history.

1502: The Portugese found the settlement and explore the land that will become Rio di Janeiro.

1776: George Washington raises the first ever US flag.

1788: The first edition of The Times newspaper is published.

1959: President Batista of Cuba is overthrown by Fidel Castro's forces.

1999: The Euro is introduced as a common currency in several EU states.
