Sweet n sour (C-69)

Hello gentle readers. As we are soon of to China, I thought I would try a few Chinese recipes. Heres one we did a few days ago.

Ingredients.
6 nests of dry egg noodles.
Soy Sauce
One onion
Red pepper
Chilli
2 small carrots
A jar of sweet n sour sauce.
A few bits of cooked chicken
A handful of cooked shrimp.
Olive oil.

Method
Boil a pan of salted water and add the noodle nests. Bring back to the boil then stir and simmer for 10 minutes.

Chop the vegetables and in a wok or shallow pan fry until they begin to soften. Add a few drops of soy sauce.

In a seperate pan start frying off the shrimp and chicken. After a few minutes add a few drops of soy sauce.

Pour the sweet and sour sauce over the vegetables. If the sauce is too thick you can add water carefully until it is the correct thickness for you.

When the veg and sauce is simmering pour in the noodles and stir the mixture ensuring the sauce covers all the noodles.

At this point you could pour the meat and shell fish in as well but because Lena is avoiding meat we put this onto Robert's plate and my own plate before serving.
