Welcome to my Blog. My name is Neil and I have been living in Buckinghan, UK since the 11th September 2020. I lived in the Armenia, Latvia and China. I am a teacher of Geography, Global Perspectives and English. I am married to Lena who is my soulmate and best friend.We also have a little boy, Robert. Today in History. 11th December

Greetings Gentle time travellers. Its time once again to give up the throne of Time for the love of History.

1927: The Guangzhou uprising. Communist forces capture the city and create the Guangzhou Soviet.

1936: Edward VIII of Great Britain abdicates so he can marry Wallis Simpson.

1946: UNICEF, the UN fund for children is founded.

1964: US singer Sam Cooke is shot and killed.
