10 "FUN" facts about the USA

Hello Gentle reader, I hope those of you who read the blog in the USA are having a great 4th July.

2. The average US supermarket wastes or throws away 1360kg (3000  pounds) of food every year.

3. 66% of US citizens are considered overweight.

4. 1 in 10 US citizens has 10 or more credit cards.

5. The US has more debt per capita than Greece, Spain, Italy, Ireland or Portugal.

6. The USA's debt goes up by 1 trillion dollars every year.

7. The USA has 845 cars for every 1000 people.

 

8. In the USA, around 35% of men are  unemployed.

 

9. 1 in 4 US employees, who have access to the internet at work will  watch pornography.

 

10. 22% of teenage US girls have been or will be pregnant before they reach their 20th birthday.
