Welcome to my Blog. My name is Neil and I have been living in Buckinghan, UK since the 11th September 2020. I lived in the Armenia, Latvia and China. I am a teacher of Geography, Global Perspectives and English. I am married to Lena who is my soulmate and best friend.We also have a little boy, Robert. 1664: Louis XIV of France begins construction on the Palace of Versailles.

1718: The City of New Orleans is founded by Jean-Baptiste Le Moyne de Bienville.

1915: The Lusitania is sunk be German U-boat U-20 killing 1200 people. This incident turned many Americans against the Germans because over 200 Americans were on board.
