CBIS IMYC Bake Sale

Hello Gentle readers. Today, after a week of hard work the grade 8 students at CBIS had their Bake Sale.

The Unit entitled Responsibility has the Big Idea "Each of us is in charge of the actions we choose" and I wanted the kids to rise to the challenge of taking responsibility for and  organising a whole school bake sale.

This was the first time that these children had attemptrd a project of this scale. 5 days of school dedicated to one goal. No math, no science, just Exit Point.

 All the planning on the first few days meant they were able to make lots of tast treats.

The Grade 8's got lots of help from my colleagues.

Everybody had fun at the Bake Sale...

....and the kids made over ¥1000 for charity.

Well done.
