1929: Actress Grace Kelly the future Princess Grace of Monaco is born.



1934: Cult leader and mass murderer Charles Manson is born.



1980: Voyager 1 makes its closest approach to Saturn and phitographs the planets rings.



1990: Tim Berners-Lee publishes his outline for what will become the World Wide Web.
