Lena and I went to the Riga Central market on Wednesday afternoon to buy fruit for making jam.
We had had a quite a stressful afternoon that day because we had been to the Chinese Embassy in Riga to apply for our visas so buying and starting to make jam seemed a nice way to relax.
We bought 3kg of strawberries and 1kg of apricots and in Rimi we bought jam sugar.
Lena made the Strawberry and I made the apricot. Below are some pictures illustrating the whole process.
BTW just between you and me...our Jam is amazing.
