Springsteen: The Boss

I was about 14 when I discovered Bruce Springsteen. His working class sentiment lyrics spoke to me in a way that the early 80's pop music my peers were listening to.

It wasn't until a few years later that I found a British act, The Smiths, that even came close to his level of sometimes brutal honesty.

LOve songs, songs of strife and despair but with a sense of humour sometimes missing from American rock. That is what appealed to me then and still does today.

I have seen him live 3 times and every time the show he puts on has got better. The Boss truly gets better with age.

Here is my list of the best Springsteen song on each of is albums
