The Curious Adventures of Lena and Honey Bunny in Norfolkland

Greetings Gentle Reader or as they say in Norfolk, "You alright boy?"

My mum and sister live in the lovely little village of Horsham St. Faiths in the heart of Norfolk, not far from the city of Norwich.
As it was Easter, we decided to go and see my mum because she had not met Lena yet.
As you may be aware, Lena and I are getting married n a few weeks so I thought it was about time that the two most important people in my life got together.

So with Lena having two days off we flew to Gatwick near London and drove the 150 miles to Norwich.
The plan was to spend a few relaxing days with mum and do some shopping, The shopping in question was to go to Asda and look for wedding clothes.

We also went to Matalan and it was there that we found what we were looking for, a lovely navy dress for Lena and a smart grey suit for me.

For those of you who don't live in the UK, these two shops have high quality clothing at very low prices. Latvia is very expensive compared to some shops in the UK and also there is a bigger choice of clothes and they are available in bigger sizes. If you live n Latvia you could do a lot worse than visiting the UK to buy clothes.

Apart from clothes buying we spent a lot of time with family and went out for dinner twice. it was mums birthday last weekend so we took her to a lovely restaurant/hotel called the Black Boys in Aylsham

The food was excellent and the portions very large. Its a family friendly place.

On Sunday we took the whole family out for Sunday Dinner to a carvery called The Oaks.
Oaks, Norwich Airport
The service is good and great value. Seven of us dined for 80 pounds.

After dinner Lena and I took a nice drive to Cromer on the Norfolk coast and had a romantic walk on the old pier.

We had a great weekend and we will be going back in August.
